LOCATION AND SIZE:
This district is a concentrated area that is part of the East Police District. It includes all of the area south of 6th Street, north of 18th Street, east of 13th Avenue and west of 20th Avenue. It is about two (2) square miles in size.

DISTRICT DEMOGRAPHICS:
This district contains the Historic Downtown Square and general business district. The Green County Courthouse, Monroe City Hall, and the Police and Fire Departments are located here. The Middle School is contained in this district. Due to the amount of business vehicular and pedestrian traffic here, this is a busy district.
