The Monroe Police Department looks to hire and retain dedicated individuals, interested in learning about policing and helping others. We are seeking people with common sense, who have good problem solving skills.

APPLICANTS
Non-sworn positions are commonly filled by individuals with no previous police related experience. New employees receive structured on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction to in order to learn their respective duties. Reoccurring training and testing may also be required to maintain proficiency or certifications.
