We are an authorized agent to provide DMV temporary license plate and registration services for recently purchased cars or light trucks. Wisconsin law provides that such vehicles must be registered within two days of purchase. To apply for registration, you must first possess a signed title for the vehicle, a lien waiver (if financed), and a check or money order in the amount of the total license fees and sales tax. The tax rate for Green County is 5.5%. Please note that a separate five dollar ($5) counter service fee will be required for our part of the transaction.

To obtain service, come to the front lobby of the Monroe Police Department. Although we are open 24 hours, please attempt to conduct these transactions M-F 8AM-4PM when we are staffed to accommodate you.
